SharePoint stopped being a 2010-era document library a decade ago. In a modern Microsoft 365 tenant it is the document and structured-list backbone, the intranet surface, the home of Teams files, the content host for Viva Connections, and the integration target for Power Platform and Graph workflows. Done well, it replaces three or four standalone SaaS tools and keeps governance, identity and compliance inside one tenant the security team already audits. Done badly, it becomes a sprawl of unmaintained classic sites with broken InfoPath forms. The difference is engineering discipline: SPFx Web Parts under version control, governed app catalogs, proper Entra ID app registrations, and a CoE for Power Platform. That is the work we do.

We treat SharePoint as the document and structured-list backbone, Power Apps (canvas + model-driven) as the user-facing forms when SPFx is overkill, Power Automate for low-volume workflow (approvals, notifications, document routing), and Dataverse for structured data once the volume passes what SharePoint lists handle gracefully (5,000-item view threshold is real). Power BI consumes from both. We respect the licensing surface — premium connectors, per-app vs per-user plans, Dataverse storage — and design solutions your IT finance team can defend at renewal.
