SharePoint Development Services for US & EU Enterprises

Senior Microsoft 365 engineers building on the full modern surface: SharePoint Online with SharePoint Framework (SPFx) v1.18+ Web Parts and Extensions, Microsoft Teams apps as tabs and message extensions, Microsoft Viva Connections Adaptive Card Extensions, Power Apps + Power Automate for low-code surfaces, Dataverse where SharePoint lists no longer fit, and Microsoft Graph API for cross-workload integration. TypeScript + React + Fluent UI v9, MSAL for auth, Entra ID app registrations with least-privilege scopes, CI/CD via GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps with certificate-based authentication. We hold Microsoft Solutions Partner designation for Modern Work and follow PnP community standards. Engagements start at 12,000 EUR/month per dedicated team; integration sprints from 25,000 EUR fixed.

SharePoint stopped being a 2010-era document library a decade ago. In a modern Microsoft 365 tenant it is the document and structured-list backbone, the intranet surface, the home of Teams files, the content host for Viva Connections, and the integration target for Power Platform and Graph workflows. Done well, it replaces three or four standalone SaaS tools and keeps governance, identity and compliance inside one tenant the security team already audits. Done badly, it becomes a sprawl of unmaintained classic sites with broken InfoPath forms. The difference is engineering discipline: SPFx Web Parts under version control, governed app catalogs, proper Entra ID app registrations, and a CoE for Power Platform. That is the work we do.

What's inside a SharePoint engagement

SPFx Web Parts + Extensions

SharePoint Framework v1.18+ Web Parts, Application Customizers for tenant-wide chrome, Field Customizers for list UX, Command Sets, and Adaptive Card Extensions for Viva Connections — all React + TypeScript + Fluent UI v9 under Git and CI.

Modern intranet

Communication and Hub Site architecture, navigation strategy across hub sites, news authoring, search-driven content, personalized landing pages via Viva Connections, and a governance model that survives the next reorg.

Microsoft Teams apps

Teams apps as tabs (SPFx-hosted or standalone React), message extensions (search + action), bots on Bot Framework SDK + Azure Bot Service, and meeting apps. Single .sppkg package, cross-surface deploy to SharePoint and Teams app catalogs.

Power Platform

Power Apps (canvas + model-driven) over SharePoint or Dataverse, Power Automate flows for approval and routing, Power BI dashboards on the SharePoint and Dataverse layer, and a Center of Excellence (CoE) starter kit deployment for governance.

Microsoft Graph API

Cross-workload integration via Graph: user/group provisioning, calendar and email automation, Teams channel provisioning, OneDrive document operations, SharePoint REST. MSAL for delegated and app-only flows, batch requests, retry-after handling.

Migrations + modernization

SharePoint 2013/2016/2019 → SharePoint Online via SPMT or ShareGate, classic-to-modern page conversion, InfoPath replacement with Power Apps or SPFx, and on-prem workflow replacement with Power Automate.

How a SharePoint engagement works

  1. 01

    Tenant audit

Week 1: full tenant audit covering site sprawl, app catalog state, Entra ID app registrations and consent posture, Power Platform environments, Purview labels, Graph API consumption, and Microsoft 365 licensing fit. Written report with risks.

  2. 02

    Architecture + governance

Weeks 2–3: hub site architecture, app catalog model, Power Platform CoE rollout, Purview classification scheme, and a 90-day priority backlog. Sign-off from the M365 owner and IT security before any tenant-level change.

  3. 03

    Build + deploy

Sprint cadence: SPFx components, Teams apps, Power Apps, Power Automate flows, Graph-backed Azure Functions. All code in Git, deployed via GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps with certificate-based PnP authentication per dev tenant → production.

  4. 04

    Operate + iterate

Weekly demo, monthly business review, Graph API throttling dashboard, Power Platform environment usage, app catalog version tracking, and quarterly roadmap recalibration against the Microsoft 365 roadmap and SPFx release cadence.

Engagement models

Three-month minimum on retainers, month-to-month thereafter with 30 days notice. NDA, DPA, and IP assignment signed before kickoff.

Why US & EU enterprises pick YuSMP for SharePoint

GDPR-aligned · ISO 27001 ready · SOC 2 Type II in progress · HIPAA-capable · CCPA-acknowledged

Solutions Partner discipline

Microsoft Solutions Partner designation for Modern Work, current Microsoft certifications across the developer team (MS-700, MS-600, PL-400, PL-600), and active participation in the Microsoft 365 Patterns and Practices (PnP) community.

Engineering, not click-ops

SPFx and Power Platform code lives in Git, deploys through CI with certificate-based authentication, and survives audit. We do not configure tenant-wide changes in the browser and pray they replicate.

Compliance-fluent

EU data residency via Multi-Geo, Microsoft Purview classification + DLP + sensitivity labels, Entra ID Conditional Access posture, audit-log streaming to Sentinel, and Article 30 documentation your DPO will sign.

For regulated industries (FinTech, HealthTech, Legal, Public Sector) we run a separate Microsoft Purview labeling and DLP design and document the Entra ID consent posture against your security team's least-privilege standard.

Frequently asked questions

Do you work in SharePoint Online (Microsoft 365) or SharePoint Server on-premises?

Primarily SharePoint Online inside Microsoft 365 — that is where 95 percent of new development belongs. We still support SharePoint Server Subscription Edition for clients with regulatory or sovereignty constraints (defence, healthcare with on-prem data residency, certain EU government tenants), and we run SharePoint 2019 to SharePoint Online migrations with SharePoint Migration Tool (SPMT) or ShareGate when the move is justified. The development model is genuinely different: SharePoint Framework (SPFx) v1.18+ for Online with Node 18, modern Fluent UI React components, and tenant-wide app catalog deploys vs the legacy farm-solution / sandbox model on Server. Pick the one that matches your tenant reality.

What does SharePoint Framework (SPFx) actually let us build?

SPFx is the supported extensibility surface for modern SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, and Microsoft Viva. We build Web Parts (page-level components) for intranet and project sites, Extensions (Application Customizers, Field Customizers, Command Sets) for tenant-wide chrome and list behavior, Library Components and shared services for code reuse across tenant, and Adaptive Card Extensions (ACEs) for Microsoft Viva Connections dashboards. Everything is React + TypeScript + Fluent UI v9, built with Gulp + Webpack via the SPFx generator, deployed to the SharePoint App Catalog as an .sppkg, with optional sync to the Microsoft Teams app catalog for cross-surface reuse. CI/CD via GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps with proper certificate-based authentication.

How do you combine SharePoint with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)?

SharePoint is rarely the only piece. We treat SharePoint as the document and structured-list backbone, Power Apps (canvas + model-driven) as the user-facing forms when SPFx is overkill, Power Automate for low-volume workflow (approvals, notifications, document routing), and Dataverse for structured data once the volume passes what SharePoint lists handle gracefully (5,000-item view threshold is real). Power BI consumes from both. We respect the licensing surface — premium connectors, per-app vs per-user plans, Dataverse storage — and design solutions your IT finance team can defend at renewal. We follow Microsoft's Center of Excellence (CoE) starter kit for governance.

Do you build Microsoft Teams apps and Microsoft Graph API integrations?

Yes — most of our intranet and collaboration work now spans SharePoint + Teams + Graph. Teams apps as tabs (loading SPFx Web Parts or standalone React apps), message extensions (search and action-based), bots (Bot Framework SDK + Azure Bot Service), and meeting apps. Microsoft Graph API for any cross-workload data: user/group sync, calendar and email automation, Teams provisioning, OneDrive document operations, and SharePoint REST. We use the Microsoft Authentication Library (MSAL) for delegated and app-only flows, register apps in Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) with least-privilege scopes, and respect Graph throttling with proper retry-after handling and batch requests.

How do you handle GDPR, data residency, and Microsoft Purview compliance?

Microsoft 365 ships strong compliance primitives — we configure them correctly rather than build alternatives. EU data residency via Multi-Geo Capabilities for SharePoint, OneDrive and Exchange. Microsoft Purview for data classification, retention labels, sensitivity labels with encryption, and DLP policies. Microsoft Entra ID Conditional Access for tenant-wide auth posture. Audit logs streamed to a SIEM (Sentinel, Splunk) for retention beyond the 90-day Microsoft default. We sign a DPA, configure tenant-level GDPR consent and audit, and document the Article 30 record of processing. GDPR-aligned · ISO 27001 ready · SOC 2 Type II in progress.

What is the engagement model and how do you price SharePoint work?

Two models. Dedicated team from 12,000 EUR/month: senior SharePoint/SPFx developer (TypeScript + React + Fluent UI), Power Platform engineer, .NET/Azure backend developer for Graph API work, solutions architect at 25 percent. Weekly demo, monthly business review, quarterly roadmap. Integration sprint from 25,000 EUR fixed: scoped 6 to 10 week sprint with a defined deliverable — modern intranet rollout on SharePoint Online, SharePoint 2019 to Online migration, Teams + SPFx app development, or Power Platform Center of Excellence stand-up. Three-month minimum on retainers. We hold Microsoft Solutions Partner designation for Modern Work and follow the Microsoft 365 Patterns and Practices (PnP) community standards.
